Help Save Washington’s Dogs and Cats
Spay and neuter legislation is being proposed for the 2009 legislative session. This legislation will fund tens of thousands of additional spay and neuter surgeries for cats and dogs throughout Washington. We believe an aggressive statewide spay/neuter program is critical to reduce the number of dogs and cats dying in our shelters. Your help is essential to pass a bill in the next session. Learn more and join us in supporting the bill by visiting the Save Washington Pets website: www.savewashingtonpets.org.
This is NOT mandatory spay/neuter legislation but, rather, a way to help those who want to the right thing where their pets are concerned.
If you need help finding your state senator's and two state representatives' contact information (address, email, phone), please see the tab "How to Help" on http://www.savewashingtonpets.org/ . There is a link called "Find Your Legislators." If you would like some information to add to any email or letter to legislators, please let us know and we will email you some suggested language.
